Papucha

Croatian for sliper (papučar), mostly used to describe a man who has lost his man card (or in other words, a man who's pussywhiped!!!). A man who gets slapped everytime he defies his wife/girlfriend. A man who gets a call five minutes after arriving to have a beer with his buddies and every five minutes thereafter until he leaves making up a stupid excuse. A man who can't watch the Worldcup because it interferes with his wife/girlfried watching her soaps.

Man 1: I can't go bro. My wife won't let me

Man 2: Damn man!! You're such a friggin PAPUCHA!!

In Slovakia the noun papuca means slipper, babouche, softie shoe.
It is also name for a pub, where Melisko (the famous drunkard) drinks every day.

"Do Papuce ma volala!" (Melisko)
Mam len jednu papucu.

Translation: "She called me to Papuca!"
I only have one slipper.

It's a dummy word used as an alternative to "stuff".
Used by programmers when out of names for new project/file/folder/functions/variable

Can also be spelled as "Papoochas" "פפוכעס" "פפוחעס"

Papučar

Papučar, pronounced papu-char. a medieval manservant, literally meaning “slipper boy” or “slipper man” in English. Used in balkan and certain eastern bloc nations, particularly in the countries of the former Yugoslavia.

It describes a devoted, supportive and doting husband or boyfriend who seemingly lives to be helpful. easy and giving.

Goes beyond just providing, yard work and doing maintenance. He probably does the dishes or laundry. enjoys cooking and brings his wife her slippers.

Similar but different to the concept of nebbish in ashkenazi culture.

Papučar can be used as either a term of endearment or derogatorily depending on context and the country.

compare with “nebbish” or “golden retriever energy”.

contrast with “henpecked” “or pussywhipped”.

note: the zoomer generation equates it to being a simp and started using the terms interchangeably.

Papachango

Is a pre-baby party for men. The party doesn't involve any of the pomp and circumstance of a traditional baby shower, but should be considered more of a secondary bachelor party for a soon to be new dad. The only requirements are friends, alcohol and willingness to have a good time. The exact origins are unknown, but most believe it is taken from strong traditions of both the Mexican and Sri Lankan cultures.

We haven't decided on where Shawn's Papachango is going to be but we are considering Cancun, Jamaica or Vegas.
