Opinionista

A person committed to the belief that opinions matter as much as facts and that her own ignorance is of equal value to others' expertise. Frequently found in the comments sections of news articles and other online fora.
The opinionistas responding to that article don't seem to have read past the headline.

System Opinionstrator

One who claims to maintain or support a computer system but in all actuality only has opinions on how it should be done and may in fact have no hands-on experience to back up said advice.
The chief system opinionstrator criticized how the system administrators actually handled the upgrade, nevermind he had never done an upgrade himself.

Opinionata

An opinion with candy inside; A sweet opinion.

Opinionatapus

A person who constantly changes their opinion about something.
He was so adamant about wearing a mask at the store. His cousin passed from Covid......Next day, he went clubbing with a Trump hat on. He believes in his constitutional rights. What an opinionatapus.

OpinionSearch

A crappy call-centre agency that employs financially desperate students and old people to do meaningless surveys over the phone, bugging people at dinner or on Sunday mornings.
OpinionSearch also has a tendency to not give two shits about its employees.

Should not be confused with telemarketing since telemarketing agencies actually go on the national no-call list.
1) I worked an 8-hour shift at OpinionSearch today and I want to slit my wrists.

2)Caller: Hi, this is (insert badly chosen fake name here) calling from OpinionSearch. We're looking for male members of your household between the ages of 18 and 34 who might be interested in a banking survey.

Client: *Click* or "I'M IN THE SHOWER!!!!!!"

Caller: Hello sir? Hello sir? Hello sir? Hello sir?...

3)Caller: Hi this is (actual name) calling from OpinionSearch. We're looking for female members of your household between the ages of 50 and 65 who might be interested in taking a survey on your sexual habits. Would that be you?

Client: Pervert! I have your name and I'm calling the police!

opinionism

All things involving opinions, sometimes including bias & obnoxious behavior.
"Because this is a country founded on opinionism (among other things too), the opinions of stupid people are taken into account. That is what's screwing up this country. It's always opinion VS opinion. Intelligence VS intelligence. Although it's free-will, it spreads like wildfire and there's no controlling it......now that I word it like this, you're probably thinking I'm an anti-American communist. Which is VERY far from the truth, you prejudmental bastard."

God Shot

A chance happening with profound meaning, an unexpected blessing, a "sign".
Dr. Drew on Celebrity Rehab said "All of a sudden what had been just another Hollywood proposal became for him an unexpected blessing, an opportunity for growth. In drug recovery language, that's called a "God shot."

city chicken

A food native to Pittsburgh/Western Pennsylvania in which cubes of pork and/or veal are put on a short, wooden skewer, breaded, then baked and/or fried.

I've heard that city chicken originated during the Great Depression, when folks didn't have enough money to buy full cuts of meat, so they assembled meat scraps on a wooden skewer, creating a make-shift drumstick. Hence the name.

endwarfins

The rush of neurotransmitters and neuropeptides triggered specifically by watching the Seven Dwarfs march home singing "Heigh-Ho" — that particular high of pickaxes, whistling while you work, and communal domestic bliss in a cottage built for men half your height.
I only meant to watch the Heigh-Ho scene for the endwarfins, and then it was two hours later and I'd watched the whole movie.

Endwarfins aren't just a Snow White thing — I get the same hit off the Lollipop Guild in Oz.
