Nerdest

A person who prefers to sit at the computer naked. Not necessarily related to surfing porn, someone who simply prefers to be naked while working at the computer.

I know many "Nerds" who sit in a darkened room all day, coding or doing some kind of "nerd" related job.

3 of these people prefer to sit naked while working. We came up with the term nerdest to describe nerds who prefer to sit and work naked.

Nerdist Colony

Noun; A place where people of a geekier nature can be themselves without the fear of ridicule; an area where cosplay is accepted as being normal and out of costume people are rejected and despised. Normally a comic book store or a gaming shop.

Craig: Um... dude, why are you dressed as Spock?

Geoff: Oh. I'm heading over to the nerdist colony to flash my sonic screwdriver at some orion slave girls. Wanna come?

Craig: ...Sure, why the force not? *grabs Batman costume*

nerdistic

1. the act of a very intelligent but single-minded person obsessed with a nonsocial hobby or pursuit deriving gratification or pleasure from random acts of nerdism

2. The pleasure or enjoyment of speaking in an esoteric manner.

3. The act of using computer jargon or messenger abbreviations in everyday audible dialogue

4. A general term for any nerd who truly loves and enjoys his/her stature.

"I love the way nerds act in a purely nerdistic manner."

2. Nerd 1 - "Remember that one time we did that thing with that thing on that game that was friggin' hilarious?!?"
Nerd 2 - "OMG! I know right!!"
Non-nerd - "What the hell are you two talking about."
Nerds - "Oh nothing you wouldn't understand it even if we explained it to you. It's kind of one of those 'had to be there' situations! HAHAHAHAHA"

4. "I love being a nerd!!"

A phenomenon resulting from an attempt to pass off a fallacious story as factual, only to subsequently have the story proven wrong, resulting in exhibited defensiveness, bitterness and embarrassment on the part of the teller of said false story.
