Mt.Sinai

A rich town on Long Island. Full of snobby kids who drive to school in their BMW's and other ridiculous cars. There are way to many cliques to name. They go to mays grave, the beach or midgetvill when theres nothing to do, otherwise one of them just has a party in they're huge ridiculous houses. Filled with movie theaters and games rooms, and tennis courts and basketball courts in their high back yards. On a summer night they are all down port or eating at "seaport" or "north side deli". They have no worries because daddy always saves them with any amount of money for the damage they have done. They are all spoiled and the closer to the beach you live, the more money they have. This is why they have HUGE house parties.

Fogey/fogy /fougi/ sl. (early 18C+, orig. Scot) old-fashioned, stuck-in-the mud.
Person with old fashioned ideas which he is unwilling to change: Come to the disco and stop being such an old fogey!
You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)

church hurt

church hurt is where you experience a degree of distance, pain, or judgement from your church community. Essentially, you are just unable to “find your place”. This is prevalent in the Christian community, but can be extended to other religions.
Now that I am an adult I am beginning to heal from the church hurt that was inflicted on me as a child.
