Moochmaker

A person who turns other people into mooches. Most likely a push over, this person will probably have some amount of wealth or be rich enough to afford other people bum or mooch off of them. Because this person doesn't mind being mooched off of, the people who go to them for help will likely create a recurring pattern of going to this person, in the end becoming permanent mooches thereby making the person being mooched off of a moochmaker.

Daniel is such a moochmaker for letting people borrow money from him all the time.

A jobless, alcoholic roommate where YOU provide shelter, heating and air conditioning, running water, and you even feed the SOB, without receiving a dime from them. Typically, they steal from you to support their cigarette and alcohol addictions.

No, he's not my visiting brother-in-law, he's our moochmate; been here 2 years.

Moochmate

A Moochmate is an individual, male or female, that is welcomed into a group living situation with others, but is unable to pay rent or contribute to the group’s general living expenses. The Moochmate attempts to offset their inability to pay for rent and other expenses by providing services which can include, but not be limited to cleaning, laundry, dishes, dog watching, fruit picking and occasionally, assisting others with bathing, showering and washing their hair. However, the Moochmate is eventually asked to leave because of their drain on the wallets of the others. Moochmates typically will find another rooming situation where they can continue to mooch. But in some instances, the Moochmate must return home to a parental dwelling. In those instances, the Moochmate is often required by the parent to repay the most recent roommates of the Moochmate with cash after being required to get a job.

Leslie and Tanna welcomed Donna into their apartment as a new roommate. However, after about 3 months, they realized that Donna was not a roommate, but rather a Moochmate and they asked her to leave.

Matchmaker

Ask anybody, they'll tell you that a man needs to find a woman to be happy. If a man still hasn't been domesticated, it's because something's missing in his life, a woman! So if you know a guy like that, take personal responsibility for introducing him to a female you know even if he hasn't indicated any desire to change his life, or hinted at loneliness or depression. You have to read through the mask he's been putting on for the world to fool everybody and see how he desperately needs a woman to feel alive and well. There's always more to it, everything is not okay the way it is, you need to change things, you must intervene in other people's lives and personal business if you're a real friend, even the people who have let you know they want to be left alone. Those are the ones who need your help the most desperately, they're putting up a wall it's unhealthy for them!

I wish Dave would stop playing mind games by telling me he's okay and wants time to himself to be left alone. I just know that there's more to it than he's sharing with everybody, I just have to keep digging deeper and try to get in his head and find out what the fuck is the problem? Ooh I know, of course that's it, he needs a woman, a companion. I'll play matchmaker, a man's life can never get good until a woman shows up and makes everything okay!
