Misanthrophy 

Hatred, disgust and/or contempt towards the human race. Taking cynicism to the next level.

Reasons for misanthrophy include:
-You think humanity as a whole is bad in general
-You had a terrible past which led you to distrust and hate everyone
-You're fucked up in the mind (popular reason)
-You like to act all "woke" and shit like a pretentious prick (also popular reason)

Usually, misantrophy isn't easy to spot in real life, but the internet has allowed misanthropists to pop up left and right like an infestation.

Will: Man, those poor innocent people got caught in a terrorist shooting.

Bob: Humanity is shit anyway. The more people die, the better. I wish WW3 happened and eradicated the entire human race in a massive nuclear war.

Will: Talk about Misanthrophy. What the fuck is wrong with you?

Joule Misanthropy

The avoidance of using the Joule as a unit of energy. Sometimes used equivocally, especially in the United States, in describing a strong preference for the use of the calorie. Specifically, Joule Misanthropy refers to those who castigate or otherwise judge humans who do express energy as joules. Joule Misanthropists are known as being particularly intransigent in their anti-joule stance.

This inclination and its relatively widespread popularity are thought to have been originated by those who opposed the popularity of James Prescott Joule. This movement probably began after Joule famously spurned William Thomson (later Lord Kelvin); the two had planned an experiment together, which Joule then neglected in favor of marriage and a honeymoon. Although essentially left standing at the flask, Lord Kelvin understood and offered his congratulations to the happy couple. However, Kelvin supporters were enraged and began an anti-Joule campaign. This caught hold particularly in the Americas, probably due the residual anti-English sentiment of the time.

Formally, Joule Misanthropy is defined as the the use of a unit of energy other than the joule in a context in which the use of said unit would generally be considered illogical or not practical. For example, expressing the energy required by a human to lift a small object in electronvolts would constitute Joule Misanthropy.

A condition characterized by a need for solitude, and skepticism about the nobility of one's fellows. Hatred and mistrust of man (and woman) kind. The state of being misanthropic.

Misanthrope 

Person who has put trust into another multiple times only to be let down time and time again. After this occurs so often hope is lost, and you start to see the reality of how disgusting humanity on earth really is.

A vague thought that life on earth, is nothing but "self inflicted torture at the hands of death."

Misanthrope, just think about it.

Misanthropoop 

One with an intense hatred and/or distrust of fecal material and who does not find potty humor agreeable.

Greek in origin, it combines the elements of (misos, "hatred") and (anthrōpoos, "man-poo").

The group of friends wanted to watch the film Bridesmaids but Rosemary was a notable misanthropoop and would have ruined the experience.
