To make everyone around you think that you are busy and working while in actuality you are doing nothing. Is a way to keep up appearances so others are impressed by your work ethic. Many times the phrase, "i gotta let you go, i have some shit to take care of" will be uttered.

I didn't feel like doing anything last week so I pulled a Maslanka.
