Short-hand for a Late Night Booty Call, which has evolved to a primarily text message-based art form but, like "buying CDs" and "taping shows" the "call" portion has hung on in the popular lexicon. The LNBC involves contacting a potential or reliable hook-up toward the end of the evening, having fulfilled another social obligation or failed at hooking up with someone else through other means.
