Kamau Kambon

Kamau Kambon is a former North Carolina State University visiting professor of African-American Studies.

He is probably most famous (or notorious) for a speech delivered October 14, 2005, at Howard University, urging genocide of whites, saying, "We have to exterminate white people off the face of the planet to solve this problem of racial injustice." Footage of this speech is readily available as of July 14, 2006, and was apparently aired on C-SPAN (author realizes no one watches C-SPAN).

He supports his argument by calling the modern world an "international plantation," with each white man a plantation owner. He claims that all whites want to rape and kill blacks, citing "Pulp Fiction" as evidence of white bloodlust (this citation confuses the author, who does not understand what segment of the film Mr. Kambon is alluding to).

Mr. Kambon has a website (author does not know what the politically correct term for Mr. Kambon's association with said website--ownership, ) at www.blacknificent.com. The website seems devoid of any statements regarding genocide, instead offering links and inspirational tidbits about African-American culture, legacy, struggle and history.
I don't know 'bout you, but to me Kamau Kambon just proves that you don't have to be white to be a racist dick.

To any black people: I am white, and I don't want to kill you. You go do your thing, I'll go do mine, and we can all get along and maybe later we can do something fun, like clearcutting in Brazil or playing tag around Chernobyl or something. And won't that be fun?

You think me an old fogeyand an old tory, his thoughtful voice said. I saw three generations since O’Connel’s time. I remember the famine. Do you know that the orange lodges agitated for repeal of the union twenty years before O’Connel did or before the prelates of your communion denounced him as a demagogue? You fenians forget some things. (James Joyce, Ulysses. Penguin Books,1992. p. 38)

church hurt

church hurt is where you experience a degree of distance, pain, or judgement from your church community. Essentially, you are just unable to “find your place”. This is prevalent in the Christian community, but can be extended to other religions.
