n. The feeling of pseudo-hate a warm, soft-hearted person feels when someone they love too much to genuinely hate hurts them. Hurtred produces a false sense of cold-heartedness and vivid fantasies of revenge that could never actually be carried out.

Person 1: Yeah, I hope that lying, cheating bitch comes and asks me for help with his project. Watch what I have to say to him. I'm gonna SHOW him.

Person 2: Yeah, right. That's just your hurtred talking. We both know that all he's gotta do is be nice to you for a minute and you're gonna forgive him and do whatever you can to help him.
