Hupset

When you're so hungry that it makes you sad or upset. You usually don't realize you're sad because you're hungry, until someone points it out.

Similar to hangry except you're sad instead of angry.

Bill: I'm so sad about being late to dinner, I could cry!

Joe: you're just hupset.

Bill: yeah, you're right.

Hupster

A cross between a hipster and and a hippy. A close variant of a Huppie. One or two differences can cause a classification change between the two. For example, a switch in occupation from a lawyer to an artist would result in a change in classification from a Huppie to a Hupster. Hupsters are visually similar to Hipsters but tend to live a healthier lifestyle. They do not smoke and are more comfortable being awake in the morning. Hupsters are more likely to be in a stable relationship and to have children. They enjoy art shows and farmer's markets.

He quit his job at the law firm and started selling his art at the Farmer's market, I guess he is a Hupster now.

hipsetter

The rare few who set the standards of cool, usually without the intention of doing so. In essence, the one who all hipsters follow. Their choices trickle down to the hopelessly ironic masses. Hipsetters are *not* hipsters, and really could care less about what is cool or not cool.

hpsetup

noun; WLAN that shows up nearly everywhere, with an excellent signal...yet doesn't have any internet connectivity. Claimed to be by some part of Hewlett Packard's plan for world domination. Beleived to be an innofensive peer-to-peer wireless network for HP printers by others.

A: "Hey look! My laptop detected a new wireless network called hpsetup....Excellent..."
B: "Good luck with that, foo "

A hipset is somebody who tries to be a hipster, but just can't seem to make it over that, flaccid and pathetic hipster hump.

Person 1: "Steven's favorite album changes every week depending on what got the best review on Pitchfork."

Person 2: "Man, what a fuckin' hipset."

hpsetup

Hewlett-Packard printers equipped with 802.11a/b/g/n WiFi network interfaces beacon a peer to peer network "hpsetup" out of the box. This network has no connectivity to the Internet or to any other ports on the printer. It's used to configure the wireless interface and network settings. Connecting to it and expecting to get on the Internet is futile.

I pity the foo who expects hpsetup to go to anything.
