is a range of negative attitudes and feelings towards landlines, QWEST, phone jacks and telephone poles in some cases VOIP and Advertisements for VOIP. Definitions refer variably to antipathy, contempt, prejudice, aversion, and irrational fear. Homephonebia is observable in critical and hostile behavior such as discrimination and violence on the basis of a perceived non-cellular orientation.

George is so Homephonebic he just hates the fact that the apartment still has a landline and complains everytime he's asked to chip in for the bill.

Someone who is afraid of being home. Always going out, even when it’s not fun or affordable just so they don’t have to be at home.

Person 1: “Yo, Gabi is a homephobic. She’s always going out and can never stay home.”
