Hallothanksmas is an event running from early October to New Years Eve. Due to peoples obsessive need to start the holidays earlier and earlier, the Three holidays of Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas have merged into one huge morass of shopping.

An unofficial term used to describe the period of year where the three major holidays reside in (October through December), the holidays being Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Hallowthanksmas 

Is the holiday celebrating the most wonderful time of the year, October through December. It is a time of great warmth, sharing, parties, and of great American commercialism. People complain about overlapping holidays, but why? The distinction between the three major holidays is only becoming less clear. Embrace it as Hallowthanksmas! It's certainly not going to disappear. It's a great excuse to eat, drink and be merry for three months straight! Each month is a celebration of its respective holidays, and seeing decorations and stores fully stocked should get our creative juices flowing; food, friends, parties and decorations are all a part of the holidays. Let's face it, Hallowthanksmas is here to stay, and I say God Bless It. And God Bless Us, everyone!

A season completely devoid of any spiritual, social or religious significance, devoted solely to bolstering the sales of National mega-chains;
A new opportunity for Hallmark Cards to create a non holiday

Our family celebrates hallowthanksmasyear day so we can combine all the holidays together and not have to pay holiday prices or travel during peak time, and still get to celebrate together.
