Similar to having a nightmare that you are naked in front of everyone; a hairmare is a nightmare that your hair is out of control and a complete mullet/permed/reverse mohawk disaster.

Hey Jane, last night I had the worst hairmare ever. I was walking into Starbucks sporting a permed front and a rat tail in the back! Scary.
