A hagver is a person who secretly lusts after someone but hasnt got the balls to say anything so instead gets close to that person by becoming a "friend" so they can stop other potential suiters from getting close...

I saw Stacey with that 'Leon' again, i swear they are going out... Or is he just her 'hagver'?

Victoria and Jose are always together, they are such close friends although i think Victoria is 'hagver' for him, she wont let any other girls talk to him!
