Guestapo 

Refers to a group of heavy-handed party-attendees whose overbearing/arrogant attitude dampens the mood for everyone else.

Anytime I get invited to a community shindig, I always ask the hostess for a list of the people who plan to attend said party so that I can know if there will be any Guestapo individuals there, and so I can better determine whether I want to bother showing up myself.

A resident who volunteers to observe and report minor violations to the condo association on a regular basis, with identity unknown to other residents.

Granny Gestapo 

The elderly female employees stationed at the entrance to Walmart stores. The purpose of the Granny Gestapo is to make honest Walmart shoppers feel like shoplifters as they attempt to leave the store. Once Walmart has your money, the Granny Gestapo carefully searches through your purchases item by item to make sure that each one matches your receipt precisely. Also known as Walmart security or as people greeters.

The Walmart checker was too lazy to bag the toilet paper, so I was strip searched by the Granny Gestapo when I tried to leave the store.

A cop with an unusually large hatred for anyone not a cop. Derived from the word gestapo now it represents all facist, fag bashing, racist, hypocritical components of law enforcement.

The Federal Transport Security Agency, or any similar airport security screening outfit that commits draconian and degrading invasion of privacy and violation of rights of passengers in the course of its duty, usually under full government protection and no right to recourse.

The Airport Gestapo confiscated GI Joe's two inch rifle and wand raped the owner.
