A phrase originally derived from a video of a young man of south asian descent making a layup in basketball while a younger fellow with an Indian accent who is recording yells "Good shot Bhaiya" implying that the young man did well in making the goal. The original audio was used shortly on TikTok to record people with south asian heritage doing well or scoring in their respective sport that they are playing but the phrase now has been used as more of an idiom towards people of south asian heritage to ironically express disapproval and or sarcasm when the person has done something foolish, similar to the phrase "nice going."
Person with south asian descent: "Bro I just spilled tikka all over myself"
Other person: "Good shot Bhaiya"
