When you share a car and you and a sibling/friend avoid traveling when the tank is low because you don't want to be the one to pay to fill up the car, you're playing gas chicken.

My brother and I have been playing gas chicken all weekend, but I have to pick up my girlfriend at the airport this week... I think I'm going to have to give in and take the L.

Tear Gas Chicken 

A game where 3 or more people enter an air-tight room or closet and open a can of Tear Gas. The last person standing (left in the room) wins.

"Nick is such a puss! He only lasted 10 second in Tear Gas Chicken!"
"Yea dude, I heard he had a panic attack and had to leave!"
