Feldercarb

An expletive used by the characters of Battlestar Galactica that refers to the putrid and crusty black grime that would accumulate on various pieces of machinery and required scraping off during maintenance. Possibly Battlestar-speak for bullshit.
"The XO wants a full report from you about the fight in the mess hall on his desk by morning."
"Hey, I spent all night confined to quarters already, and Tyrol was out of the infirmary in a couple hours. This is a load of feldercarb."

Felgercarb! A space aged swearword, originally from Balltestar Galactica back in the 70's. I've been saying it since about 1980. I bet we hear it in the new Battlestar Galactica movie.
Oh Felgercarb! I think another one of those singing cylons is on my 6. No wait, that's Lipps, Inc., singing funkytown!

city chicken

A food native to Pittsburgh/Western Pennsylvania in which cubes of pork and/or veal are put on a short, wooden skewer, breaded, then baked and/or fried.

I've heard that city chicken originated during the Great Depression, when folks didn't have enough money to buy full cuts of meat, so they assembled meat scraps on a wooden skewer, creating a make-shift drumstick. Hence the name.

endwarfins

The rush of neurotransmitters and neuropeptides triggered specifically by watching the Seven Dwarfs march home singing "Heigh-Ho" — that particular high of pickaxes, whistling while you work, and communal domestic bliss in a cottage built for men half your height.
I only meant to watch the Heigh-Ho scene for the endwarfins, and then it was two hours later and I'd watched the whole movie.

Endwarfins aren't just a Snow White thing — I get the same hit off the Lollipop Guild in Oz.
