facebook baiting

Posting a status (or photo, or link, or anything, really) on Facebook with the sole purpose of baiting someone specific into commenting on it. Frequently used to initiate Facebook flirtation. Widely used as a tactic for such, but rarely acknowledged.

"I know Nick loves Bon Jovi, so I'm facebook baiting him by putting some "Livin on a Prayer" lyrics as my status.

Someone who writes malicious and bitchy statuses on Facebook which are so obviously directed at someone that they might aswell of just tagged them in it.

Billy: "did you see janes status last night?!"
Chaz: "yeah that was blantently about me, she's a Facebookbitch!!!"
