1. A warcry against ones' enemies decrying stagnation, conformity, and inferiority; Essentially, "Death to your worries, enemies, and general lameness"

2. A call-and-response used as a greeting, toast, or affirmation

From Curtis Meyer's poem "Spell of The Universe (Hip-Hop in Circles Comes)":

"Three times recite in thy cauldron black / Death to the formula, death to the wack"

Party #1 offers glass: "Death to the formula"
Party #2 clinks glass in return: "Death to the wack."
