Someone who is unable to get high from marijuana or finds it incredibly difficult to get high from marijuana.

This can be due to high tolerance, too low of a dosage, or unknown genetic reasons.

Dylan: It's been seven hours dude, I still don't feel anything.

Stuart: Bit of a deadplant, bro?

When you try talking to a friend who seemingly ignores you for days at a time and gives no attention back, and overall acts like they don't want to be your friend anymore. Just like giving water to a dead plant, the plant will never grow again or give anything back. Hence the name, watering a dead plant.

Dry humor with a blank expressionless face. This type of humor is common among shy and socially indifferent people. Includes other elements of humor ranging from shy humor, sarcastic even macabre humor and other personal characteristics which makes it unique to the individual. Deadpan humor is one of the most complex and to many enigmatic comedy styles as only a select few truly understand it enough to appreciate it for it's brilliance.

Sarah Silverman, Michael Cera and Stephen Colbert are some of the best deadpan comedians alive.
