When you get two paid weeks off but the maintenance staff doesn’t. Also, you don’t get to actually travel because everyone is fearful of covid-19

Using the COVID-19 virus as an excuse to not see people, when the real reason is that they simply don't like them.
Some people are not permitting grandparents and grandchildren to see each other after months of quarantine, COVIDcing them that is "for their own good," when the reality is that they just don't like their in-laws.

Similar to staycation, one is confined at home due to the coronavirus or COVID-19. Schools are closed and students are on extended vacation with Spring Break -- hence, covidcation.
