A term used to describe the predicted path of a hurricane. Derived from the consistantly inaccurate weather forecasts.

The only justification necessary for Miami TV stations to go into non-stop hurricane coverage and scare the crap out of South Florida residents.

Bryan Norcross: And as you can see, Miami is in the Cone of Death and you should panic. Back to you, Jackie.

Jackie: But Bryan, Miami is only on the fringe, and 8 days away at best.
