I was on the
Highway to Hell, then I slipped and made a wrong turn into Hull - where I froze my arse off. Hull is in Ottawa-Gatineau and north of
forty-five, so "as cold as Hell" really isn't a strong enough term to describe this frozen torment.
The
great white north is something directly out of Robert Service's "Cremation of Sam McGee" and Hell is a warm, welcome respite by comparison.
