Mining an intellectually property for every single solitary movie idea, and then producing as many of said movies as the public will support.

Meant to maximize profit while being generally disrespectful to the property.

Turning three Lord of the Rings books into three Lord of the Rings movies = not cinemining.

Turning one Hobbit book into three Hobbit movies = Grade-A cinemining.
