Chap-Up

The act of heterosexual man-flirting, a man expressing effusive admiration for another man without sexual intent but using many of the techniques of romantic seduction. Common between skilled orators and people-watchers. A great way to break the ice if it's not misconstrued.

"It was a classic chap-up line".

"He took me outside and proceeded to chap me up outrageously."
