A string of resoundingly bad luck ranging in duration from a few hours to an entire lifetime. Although the exact causes of Brown Luck have yet to be determined, genetic factors seem to play a prominent role. Similar to being shit out of luck, but experienced over a much longer period of time.
His week wasn't going very well. His bike had been stolen, he'd misplaced his keys, the pop machine ate his quarter. He was suffering from Brown luck.

Not to be confused with Brown luck (notice the capital B). Eating something known to cause intestinal distress and miraculously feeling well all evening.
I ate Thai food and thought for sure we'd miss the movie. But Iron Man 3 was watched without incident! Must be brown luck.
