Brithmas

When you have a birthday so close to Christmas that you get screwed out of two separate days of presents.

Instead of birthday and Christmas presents, you get "Brithmas" presents.

If your actual birthday falls before Christmas, you know you won't be getting anything on Christmas day and if it falls after Christmas, you know there won't be any birthday presents.

If your birthday falls ON Christmas... you're boned but at least there won't be a full day of letdown.

1. I've never received a birthday gift nor a Christmas present... only a Brithmas gift.

2. Brithmas gifts are usually a license for people to kill two birds with one stone while spending only for a single present.

A present that unfortunate kids like me must get when you want something that the family can only afford if you combine your birthday present money with your Christmas present money. Thus, you don't get anything for one of those holidays.

"Dude, how did you get that iPod Touch?"

*sigh* "It was a birthmasday present."

The period from about December 20th - January 5th in which a person's birthday may fall and they get a "Christmas/Birthday Present". I.E. They get one present for their birthday and Christmas instead of two due to their birthday falling so close to the holiday.

I got screwed again on presents this year...my mom decided to get me a birthmas present to make her holiday shopping easier and cheaper.

Mappy Birthmas

A generic greeting used for those (un)fortunate enough to have their birthday on December 25. Usually followed by: "I would've gotten you two presents, but..."

Person 1: Hey man, Mappy Birthmas!

Person 2: Aw thanks dude! Now, what did you get me? *evil stare*

Person 1: Well, I would've gotten you two presents, but...

Person 2: Ugh! This happens every year!

Birthmas Present

A term describing a Birthday/Christmas gift for someone who was born on Christmas Day when someone gives them one gift to serve as gift for both occasions. Usually a cheap way to get out of having to buy two separate gifts.

"I get ripped off every year! I always get a Birthmas present instead of Christmas and Birthday presents since I was born on Christmas day!"
