getting bassam-ed is a word that is originated from Arabic language, it's used to describe a phase when you want to just end it all because you are so sick of life,

person #1 : where have you been lately ?
person#2 : I had a bassam phase, I just can't take it anymore and I needed sometime alone to deal with it.

person #1 : hey, do you wanna go out tonight ?
person #2 : nah ,man I'm not really feeling I've been bassamed lately and I don't think I wanna go out
