Bao Bao means baby in Chinese. It is a nickname given to Chinese kids by online ESL teachers. Bao Bao is a popular term in the online ESL community as it is an easy way to reference one’s students. This is especially true because sometimes the Bao Baos have very difficult Chinese names that are hard to pronounce and remember.
Wow! Bao Bao, GREAT job! You get a star!
My Bao Baos we’re driving me insane this morning. What’s up with my 2 SNSs?! Is there something going on in China??
