The thought, belief or religious ideal that one’s own actions and the actions of others do not make any difference in the course of eternity.
Once Joe started believing in the Apatherealistic set of ideals, a calm came over him knowing that, in the grand scheme of life and eternity, it doesn’t really matter if he lands that job or not.
