Amiguito

A significant other or "special friend" when you guys aren't in a relationship but are, for the most part, exclusive.

Can be used for male (amiguito) or female (amiguita)

Mom: Como esta tu novio?
Her: Ma, no es mi novio?
Mom: Esta bien, como está tu amiguito?

Amigito

Spanish for "little friend" or "buddy"; as "amigo" means "friend" and the suffix "-ito" translates as "little".

In Spanish:
"Mi nieto es mi amigito y mi hermana, mi amigita."
In English:
"My nephew is my lil buddy and my sister, my little friend"
