Being hit in the face by a hot and humid air stream after getting out of an air conditioned building, car or airplane.

I was airslapped hard after I got out of the airplane in Cuba.

Bel Air Slap

An unexpected slap to the face. When someone slaps another in the face for what seems to be an unnecessary show of bravado.

air slap

Not really a "slap" in the traditional use of the word,but a sharp clicking sound produced by flicking the index and middle fingers of one hand against a channel of air created by a space between some of the fingers of the other hand. This is an extremely difficult maneuver to produce and seems to be an attention-getting sound used by Armenians from Armenia itself.

Richard, I think Armen's trying to get your attention---Armen's giving you the air slap!
