Southwest goes the sunset is a new phrase to say "goodbye" or "that's all for now" in a casual quick way. It became popular on TikTok Fall 2021. It's a way to say bye without it being official or leaving someone in the dark, because it's not a real goodbye/sunset, it is slightly off (southwest).

It sets the profitable records by skimping on contracts and doing nickel and dime techniques to give their workers the worst employment of their lives. Then on December 2022 it set the record for the most unprofitable airline in the history of aviation, losing 1 billion usd in 4 days. They did this by skimping on investments for frontline employees and constantly short staffing people for years. I would avoid them as much as possible. This should remain in the history archives for records.
