The people that call kids "emo" are just people that have nothing better to do than to label people. They're too lazy to get to know anyone. If they actually talked to people they would see that "emo" is just a word,a label, not what a person is. People who spend their time labeling people are comformists that do what people expect them to do.

emos you see every day, these are people who convince themselves that they hate themselves and wear all the clothes/ listen to music said to be emo.
But all these people are just trying to be cool.
Real emos don't care about their clothes or how people percieve them. Infact they try to avoid contact with other people as they believe that they are not worthy of been seen.
Real emo's are usually young adults who can't get a job and have lots of time to think about life and about whats wong with it.
A real emo is someone you will never see or hear about not some kid with a crappy fashion sense.

Get the emo mug.Emo is not all about people hating their lives & using razorblades to cut their wrists. That's a stereotype. Emo is actually a type of music from around the 80's and not all of their songs are about wanting to die or depression. Emo is not a type of person, it is a type of music! People who think that 'emos' are attention whores are wrong. Some may and some may not be but that's not the point. People should stop calling people emo just because they are depressed. Anyone can be depressed.
