Nigger

A word used by Caucasian slave owners back in the 1800's to refer to Africans or African Americans. It's still used today, but an extremely offensive term that only ignorant or racist people use.

Tom: "Look at that Nigger over there!"

A word misconstruing the word "Negus" which is the region and largest kingdom in northwestern Africa. In tangent with Latin pronounced "negro/a" the word Nigger was applied to the captives of Negus. As such, the captives were viewed as subhuman or inferior by europeans. So the term nigger does not mean ignorant; however its meaning is to dehumanize and marginalize the people of Negus, as sub-human.

Sidebar: the people of the negus are descendants of a vast many tribes and ethnicities. Some of which are biblical including the hittites, nubians, Kemet(egypt), and falashas jews(one of the lost tribes of israel). Also, within the mixture are the Moors or modern berber people. The Blacks of America are also in part aborginal, as southeastern indigenous people, as well as the southwestern pacific indigenous were said to look on par to the Africa and were also enslaved. California is named after the Queen by the name Califa who was according to the Spanish, a statuesque Black woman with a fro.
