A nigga is basically a brother, friend or homie. The word nigga is used as a greeting when talking to friends.
Whites can use the term NIGGA ( because they can use it they shouldn't use it to greet any black person they see because some take it the wrong way) personally me as a black Man I don't care who uses the word nigga ( JUST DON'T USE NIGGER )

A slang term derived from the word "nigger". Usually said by uneducated African Americans along with "hood" and "homie". It can also be used as a greeting to other "niggas"

A "nigga" is a derogatory term when used by a white person generally making fun of the black race and normally has something to do with stealing an article of value. However, when used by a "wigga" or a black person, it is acceptable as a term for when he/she has accomplished something.
