Mad is just a way to shut someone down like for example if someone is talking to you and you don’t care or they r being rude you say mad and they will shut up you can use the word whenever you like. It’s mostly used in arguments and you say mad when you don’t care like mad I don’t care. You can also use this word when a teacher is being rude to you or they tell you to do something you just respond with mad
