Some of my family. I just think that hick means a person who has grown up in a rural setting and it takes more than 20 miles from a city of 500,000 to be a hick...i mean...geez...thats near 50 percent or more people in the US that are hicks. Theres redneck and then there is a hick...and then a country bumpkin.

Did you know Montana doesnt even have a town with a population close to 500,000. The most populated town has around 100,000 living in it?

Typically live in trailers, have sixteen one-eyed, eight-limbed, buck-toothed, 'special needs' kids, and are related by blood to everyone within a twenty mile radius. a country or southern living person ( not a hillbilly or redneck) someone who enjoys country living (usually white)likes raising animals, farming, going to the county fairs, showing animals like cows ( steers and or heifers) swine, goats, sheep and maybe even rabbits. not like a redneck because they are civilized and educated. probably live in town or just outside of the city limits ( not in the boondocks). kind people usually baptist or mormon. say yall sometimes if from texas. live normal lives and have normal jobs just enjoy other things like fishin huntin and country music
