In VoiceOver, or voice acting, creating a character by not just giving it a voice, but creating a personality to go with it.
The voice-onality was based on the personality of a meek librarian and and voice of Mrs. Potatohead.

The musical equivalent of a character in a movie stepping onscreen and immediately announcing the name of the actor who plays them.
Movie character: CHRIS PRATT!!!
Viewer 1: Why did he just yell "Chris Pratt"?
Viewer 2: It's his new voice tag.
