Dead Elephant Bounce

A short-lived and delusional surge in the stock market or economy that occurs under conservative leadership. This usually happens after a crash, scandal, or policy blunder. It mimics a “dead cat bounce” but with heavier consequences, more denial, and louder press conferences. Symbolically named after the GOP elephant, it represents the false hope injected into markets by tax cuts, culture wars, or trickle-down talking points that no longer land.

Conservatives passed that stimulus for billionaires and called it a recovery. Dead elephant bounce if I’ve ever seen one.

bounce buddy

A "John" (man who has sex with prostitutes) who regularly has sex with one prostitute in particular. The reason he's called a "bounce buddy" is because the prostitute thinks of him as a buddy who has sex with her (less likely him) and then "bounces" (goes away without saying much)

Crystal the prostitute rostitute: I have a guy/gal who at least once a month pays to have sex with me. Each time after he's had sex with me, he leaves without saying much. He's a bounce buddy.

Midwest Bounce

Occurs when a volleyball player swings at a ball low seam directly into the block. The ball will generally go straight down on his own side of the court, bouncing with such force and velocity that it breaks the plane of the volleyball net at its maximum height.
