Inspired by the RnB artist Robin Thicke, who sounds black but is white. To “Pull a Robin Thicke” is essentially to be mistaken about the race of a person from the sound of their voice.

Guy 1: Wow

Guy 1: You sounded black on the phone but you’re like whiter the vanilla ice.

Guy 2:uhh...okay... Thanks?
Guy 1: You totally Pulled a Robin Thicke on me.
