A fart is a gas made up of unpleasant smells released from the buttocks of a human being. Many reasons as to why we fart is because we consume and then release air, as it travels through our body, it releases in a rather altered fashion. Farts are often despised and hated for many reasons however it is used in humorous context in media such as television and film.
