Apparently that person doesn't understand...besides being a hateful person. It's not about knowing how to spell. It's used when someone really likes something or strongly agrees. It's a matter of degree...like enormous vs. big.

If someone asks me if I want pepperoni on my pizza and it is my favorite, I might say, "Yaas!"
