The girlfriend phenomenon

The girlfriend phenomenon is the scientific name for when a male gets in some type of romantic relationship and becomes more attractive. The guy who may be a six when single becomes a nine when taken but if they become single again they will return to being a six. Men are hit on more when they have a girlfriend than when they are single. It is natures way of saying fuck you to all of the guys in the middle of the pack.

How come girls like james now?
Because he has a girlfriend, hes a victim of the girlfriend phenomenon.
