Mirrorshipping

Mirrorshipping is when you or someone ships a character with an alternate version of themselves (same character,different universe) this term can also be used when let's say a character splits into two different versions that are different enough.

Not to be confused with selfcest, which is when a character falls in love with themselves (no different universe. no different personality, the same identical person falling in love with a copy of themselves.

In conclusion, mirrorshipping is when you ship a character with an alternate version/ alternate universe (AU) of themselves.

person 1:I love Mirrorshipping!

mirrorsharing

a yumeshipping/selfship term in which someone pairing themselves with a character mirrors the sharing status of any doubles. inviting sharing doubles and mirroring nonsharing doubles. in the case that two mirrorsharing yumes interact, it is treated as if they are both sharing (unless stated otherwise)

stray yumejoshi: i am a Blorbo yume... i am mirrorsharing, and so do not mind other 'sharing' doubles interacting with me

nonyume: i am nonsharing of the character we both selfship with, so i will refrain from interacting with you for our shared comfort
