Belief in God is WHATEVER I DO AND NOT THE THING I DON'T DO

No it isn't Jordan! No it isn't! This is You trying to reframe what constitutes belief to justify taking all of that Christian money. To believe in THE CHRISTIAN GOD is to believe that THE THINGS IN THE BOOK DID, ARE, AND WILL HAPPEN, Jordan. Is the Christian God THERE Jordan. Is it THERE and does it have the attributes it is depicted to have in the bible OR.... OR... IS IT NOT THERE, Jordan? Is that A THING THAT YOU THINK? DO YOU THINK THAT THE CREATURE IS THERE? IS THAT A THING YOU THINK OR DO YOU NOT THINK THAT? ARE YOU A BOY OR ARE YOU A GIRL, JORDAN?
Dr. JeepJorp Peepeestones "Belief in God is WHATEVER I DO AND NOT THE THING I DON'T DO! Ok!? So if I don't actually believe in God, then, actually believing in God isn't actually believing in God, OK!? Believing in God is something else entirely! Now... Ok!? You can't just ACTUALLY BELIEVE that God is THERE... You gotta... You gotta, like, grapple with the IDEA that it MIGHT be there! And then you gotta interpret the book so that WHATEVER YOU DO... Is doing the Book! Even if you contradict yourself AND THE BOOK! Right!? See, God (and by extension all higher-order abstractions) is whatever I need to do be, moment to moment, for me to maintain a certain level of moral superiority. So, maturity? Whatever I need it to be, moment to moment. Belief? Whatever I need it to be, moment to moment? God? You got it! Whatever I need it to be, moment to moment."

god squad

You know, loving god is more entertaining than a movie!

*Blank* is my God

No. No. I don't accept Jordan Peterson's consideration regarding what constitutes ✌️✊️✌️God✌️✊️✌️ because HIGHER-ORDER ABSTRACTIONS DID NOT CREATE THE UNIVERSE.
Hym "But that's what he does! He creates this '*blank* is my God' paradigm where he conflates 'God' with ANY HIGHER-ORDER ABSTRACTION THAT MOTIVATES BEHAVIOR so the HE can USE THAT CONFLATION when he needs to make a point. So, to Jordan Peterson, God is LITERALLY whatever he needs it to be, moment to moment, to get people to do what he wants people to do (Marry his daughter, give him your money). And THAT LOGIC... Also applies to ANY HIGHER-ORDER ABSTRACTION. So GOD and ANY HIGHER-ORDER ABSTRACTION... Are synonymous. Maturity? Whatever he needs it to be, moments to moment. Pride? Whatever he needs it to be, moment to moment. I reject his conceptualization of God entirely. There is A WAY IN WHICH you could CONSIDER that 'God' (in like a broad, abstract sense) but THAT ISN'T WHAT IT IS IN THE BOOK! A higher-order abstraction did not tell Moses to liberate the Jews. A Saul didn't disobey a higher-order abstraction. Maturity didn't order Saul to slaughter all of the men, women, children, and cattle of the Amalekites and then (subsequently) exiles Saul for NOT DOING THAT. Saul didn't murder them hard enough... So he got 13 year old David to murder them right, and then gave a literal child psychopath the title of king. That wasn't 'Money' that did that. It wasn't Fame, or Justice, Or, Truth, Or Warm-Fussies. So, no. And the guy in the book that had ACTUAL LINES OF DIALOGUE... Either created the universe... Or it DID NOT DO THAT... If it DIDN'T you're lying."

God-time

How the gods perceive time differently from mortals, due to their longer lifespans.
(e.g: 'The gods are typically more patient than mortals as 100 years is like a month in god-time' ).

(Note: God-time is kind of comparable to human and dog years, but not exactly).
