Vacater

Someone who leaves a room of people who dont miss them when they leave to say they're going out to party, when really theyre going out on a desperate search for another group of people who hasn't rejected them yet, that way they won't end up riding around alone, with nobody caring where they are except themself.

The vacater is leaving the room, that should take the edge off everybody left in here a bit, it's nice when everybody is not on edge, and someone they dont trust isn't there with them. After all it's the vacater that wants other people around them, not the other way around.

When you’re having a minor procedure done in the hospital that requires small to moderate amounts of anesthesia that leaves you in a relaxed and twilight like state, usually lasting between 4-12 hours

Nurse: Don’t be nervous we will give you some thing to ease the anxiety throughout the procedure...

Friend Vacation

When you lose contact with a close friend for an extended amount of time from a week +.

Sometimes a friend vacation is needed when a good friend starts to get on your nerves. Take a break and come back to a refreshed relationship. Other times your friend may take a vacation from you because they have entered into a romantic relationship and spend less time with you and more with their significant other. The most convenient use of the term "friend vacation" can be used to stop contact with someone who your just not that into but they seem very interested in you. Just let them know that you'll still be in contact but your taking a friend vacation from them to focus on something important like work, or school. Hopefully by the time you get back from vacation they have found someone else to pursue and you can remain in the friend zone right where you want to be.

Island Vacation

When pedestrians cross to the middle of the road but then take a mental vacation, showing no signs or interest in crossing the rest of the way or any awareness of their surroundings, causing confusion for passing drivers/other pedestrians (could alternatively be, minor stroke - who would know?)

"What are you stopped for?"
"I was just gonna let this guy cross"
"Nah, not that guy, he's on an island vacation, he could be there a while"
