Production throttling

Restricting a process or job in a particular way that makes it less efficient and of lesser quality.

The job site supervisor was really into production throttling. It took twice as long and came out terrible.

The office manager was terrible at logistics and quality control. All the paperwork was filed in the wrong order and had to be refiled.

The government agency wanted to increase quality through regulation and control, but really accomplished nothing but production throttling.

Production office

The bricks and mortar command central nerve center while a movie is in production. Production offices are nothing fancy. Think of a political campaign office and you're in the ballpark. Think of gunmetal grey desks folding chairs laptops aplenty and numerous pa's (production assistants) going on perpetual coffee donuts and deli runs the redolent aroma of stale pizza and flop sweat hanging in the air.

Our. Production office was in a sketchy part of town but at least there was a good deli around the corner!

productivity

Productivity is an endless cycle. You can never be productive enough.

So what if instead of us humans getting tired, our computers would start saying "Please, I'm tired."?

I wish my productivity was higher, but my computer is so tired, it falls asleep every 5 minutes.
